Our Staff
At the Ankle & Foot Institute of the South Sound our staff pursue the highest levels of accreditation and ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in podiatry. Dr. Salton offers comprehensive foot and ankle care that includes both conservative and surgical treatment options. She has active staff privileges at the Franciscan Health System's local hospitals and is involved with the Franciscan Foot and Ankle Residency program.
Heather Salton, DPM
Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Heather Salton graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Syracuse University. She earned her Podiatric degree at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a three year surgical residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. When she's not treating patients, she enjoys music, playing with her beloved potcakes (Caribbean island dogs http://www.potcakeplace.com/) and cats and spending time outdoors.
Office Staff
Our staff is here to assist the doctor in providing our patients with the highest quality podiatric care possible. It is important for our patients to remember that staff members are here to help to the best of their abilities. Please keep in mind that they are required to follow and enforce all policies as determined by the doctor and deserve the same respect as the doctor.
Renee handles all of the receptionist duties as well as surgery scheduling and insurance verification for the office.
